The tilt sensor has a built-in high-precision A/D differential converter and uses a fifth-order filtering algorithm to measure the tilt and pitch angles of the sensor output relative to the horizontal plane. To put it simply, the inclination sensor is actually an acceleration sensor that uses the principle of inertia.

Inclination sensors are classified according to the number of installed axes, and are generally divided into two types: single-axis and dual-axis. This article will explain to you the difference between single-axis inclination sensors and dual-axis inclination sensors.

1. Single-axis tilt sensor:

- A single-axis tilt sensor is a tool that measures the angle of an object in one direction.

- It can directly measure the acceleration of the object, and obtain the linear velocity of the object through the integral operation, and then further obtain the displacement of the object.

- Fundamentally, the tilt sensor is still an inertial sensor, following the law of inertia and the integral calculation method of object motion.

- Uniaxial sensors are designed based on this basic principle, but there are other measurement principles and measurement methods.

2. Dual-axis tilt sensor:

- The dual-axis tilt sensor is a tool for measuring the angle between two directions. It is designed on the basis of the single-axis sensor and combined with detailed practical requirements.

- The dual-axis tilt sensor can directly measure the acceleration of the measured object, and obtain the linear velocity of the object through an integral operation, and then obtain the displacement of the object.

- Fundamentally, the tilt sensor is still an inertial sensor, following the law of inertia and the integral calculation method of object motion. Biaxial sensors are designed based on this basic principle and feature additional measurement principles and measurement methods.

3. Advantages of dual-axis tilt sensor:

- The dual-axis tilt sensor shares two sensitive axes, namely the X-axis and the Y-axis.

- When the sensitive axis is linearly aligned with the direction of gravity, the output change value caused by each degree of tilt is larger;

- When the sensitive axis is at an angle of 45 degrees to the direction of gravity, the change caused by each degree of tilt is small;

- When the two sensitive axes are close to parallel, each small offset will cause almost no change in the output.

- Based on this principle, the dual-axis tilt sensor can measure more types of objects and more types of viewing angles, greatly improving measurement efficiency.

Kejit tilt sensor can be widely used in fields that need to measure information such as object angle, acceleration, speed and displacement. Whether it is a single-axis tilt sensor or a dual-axis tilt sensor, it can meet different needs and provide accurate and reliable measurement results.
