The proximity switch is a power switch. It does not have to be connected to a PLC. It can be connected to many things: car relays, indicator lights, alarm bells, etc.;
If the proximity switch is connected to a relay, connect the power supply to the proximity switch, and the output of the proximity switch is connected to the coil end of the relay. The contact end of the relay has a power supply for immediate power supply, and then the load is connected.
1. 3-wire proximity switch: one is the ground wire, one is the switching power supply, and the other is the output.
2. The proximity switch is divided into NPN or PNP transistor output. When the NPN type is reasonable, it has a low frequency. The automotive relay wire package is connected between the switching power supply and the output terminal;
3. When the PNP type is reasonable, it is a pull-up resistor, and the automotive relay is connected between the ground wire and the output terminal.
4. The wiring method described above will cause the car relay to close when approaching the switch position.
5. The proximity switch with 3 lines also has reverse output, and the output logic is reversed.
6. There is also a proximity switch with 4 wires. In addition to the 2 wires of the switching power supply, the other two wires are forward output and reverse output.
