The belt conveyor pull rope switch is a switch device used to control the operation of the belt conveyor. Its main functions are as follows:

1. Turning on and off the belt conveyor: By pulling the pull rope, the pull rope switch can be switched from the off state to the on state, thereby starting the belt conveyor. On the contrary, when the pull rope is pulled, the switch will switch to the off state, thus stopping the operation of the belt conveyor.

2. Emergency stop function: The pull rope switch of the belt conveyor usually also has an emergency stop function. In the event of an emergency, just pull the pull rope to quickly stop the operation of the belt conveyor to ensure the safety of operators and equipment.

3. Flexible user control: Compared with conventional switch buttons, the pull cord switch uses a pull cord to operate, making it more convenient and flexible for users. Especially for work scenarios that require frequent adjustments or control of the operation of the belt conveyor, the pull rope switch can better meet the needs of users.

The belt conveyor pull rope switch has the following main terminals:

· Power terminal blocks: These terminals are used to connect the power cord to provide power to the pull cord switch.

· Control line terminals: These terminals are used to connect control lines and transmit signals to control equipment to realize the control function of the switch.

· Belt conveyor wiring terminals: These terminals are used to connect the power line and control line of the belt conveyor to realize the start, stop and emergency stop control of the belt conveyor.

The following are the general rope pull switch installation steps:

Install the switch smoothly on the rack fixing bracket.

Tie the steel wire rope to the pull rings at both ends. The length of the rope on each side should not exceed 40 meters (shortened to 25 meters during the climbing section).

Ensure that the pulling force of the wire rope is appropriate to ensure that the switch can be reliably reset.

Set the wire rope to be installed in the parallel direction of the tape, and add a lifting ring every 10 meters.

Make sure the pull-rope switch is installed in a location with access for maintenance and is easy to operate.

The specific steps are as follows:

· First, fix the pull cord switch on the rack to ensure that the installation is firm and stable.

· Determine the distance between the two switches on one side to be about 30 meters, and use a wire rope with a diameter of Φ4 to connect them. Make sure the tightness of the wire rope is appropriate.

· In order to reduce the influence of the wire rope's own weight on the switch startup, a support ring is installed on the frame every 3 meters to support the wire rope.

· ·The steel wire rope at the other end should be tied to the tension spring and fixed with a rope buckle. Without affecting normal use, use a tensioner to tighten the drawstrings on both sides and ensure that the tension on both sides is balanced.

Please note that for conveyors in the climbing section, the switch spacing and the length of the pull rope should be shortened as much as possible to ensure safety and normal operation.
