Magnetic flip plate principle: The explosion-proof proximity switch uses magnetic materials to attract or reverse the magnetic flip plate to connect or disconnect the switch circuit. When an object is detected approaching, the magnetic flip plate is affected by magnetic force and flips, thus triggering the switch signal.


Mechanical contact principle: The explosion-proof proximity switch realizes switch switching by turning on or off the mechanical contact. When an object approaches, it touches the mechanical part on the switch device, causing the mechanical contacts to close, thereby triggering the switch signal.


Explosion-proof proximity switches based on the principle of electromagnetic induction mainly include the following types:


Induction principle: The explosion-proof proximity switch uses electromagnetic induction for detection. When an object approaches, the object changes the magnetic field in the induction coil, thereby generating an induced voltage or current, triggering a switching signal.


Photoelectric principle: The explosion-proof proximity switch achieves detection by emitting a beam of light and detecting whether it is reflected or blocked by an object. When an object approaches the switch, the light is reflected or blocked, and the photoelectric sensor receives the corresponding signal, thereby triggering the switch signal.


The working principles and specific types of explosion-proof proximity switches may be different, but their common goal is to reliably detect the approach or departure of objects in hazardous environments and ensure the safe operation of the equipment.
