Laser ranging sensor is a sensor that uses laser technology to measure and convert data. It is composed of lasers, optical parts, and optoelectronic devices. It can measure measured physical quantities (such as length, distance, vibration, flow, speed, etc. ) into an optical signal, and then use a photoelectric converter to convert the optical signal into an electrical signal. Through the filtering, amplification, and rectification of the corresponding circuit, the output signal is obtained, thereby calculating the measured value.




Compared with other sensors such as ultrasonic, infrared, and millimeter waves, laser sensors have incomparable advantages in terms of measurement accuracy, resolution, anti-interference ability, stability, and response speed. Therefore, when the measurement accuracy is high, such as 0.1mm, 0.01mm, or even 1um, laser ranging sensors are generally preferred.
